“Kaiba-san” A stern voice called out as the person approached the raven hair boy who had been staring at the scenery outside the window lazily, unaware that the class was already over and most of his classmates had already left for the next class.
“Kaiba-san!” This time, the voice of his teacher finally snapped him out of his thoughts, his large eyes looking back up at his homeroom teacher.
Uh oh.. He thought frantically at the approaching teacher, not knowing what trouble he’s in again.. Guess I should play the innocent card just in case.
“Sensei?” Mokuba asked as he stared at her innocently before his face securitised out of concern, “Sensei, are you alright? You looked stressed, is there something bothering you? Can I help you with anything?”
Taken back by his cute angelic expression and his unexpected concern from one of the Kaiba, her heart instantly melted into mush. In fact, it took a lot of restraint not to squeal about how adorable he was and the special attention she gotten.
“I-I’m fine Kaiba-san, there’s nothing wrong with me, don’t worry about it” The sensei voice was visibly different from before, no longer annoyed about him being distracted in her class earlier.
“Your personal doctor had called the principal a while ago told him about your current health condition. He wanted me to inform you that you’re excused for the rest of the day until your doctor deemed you fit enough to return.”
Doctor? My health condition?
“You’re so brave Kaiba-san, coming to school even when you’re that sick! No wonder you seemed so distracted recently, I’m such a bad sensei not to notice it. And to think you’re actually more worried about me when you’re the one who’s ill, you’re a really sweet boy! Sensei is lucky to have you!”
Yui nee-chan’s method works too well, she can’t stop talking…
“Don’t worry about your homework and all the upcoming tests, I’ll excuse you from all of it. I’m sure that you’ll be able to catch all up easily when you’re back, in fact, you’re actually very far ahead of everyone! But you still need to keep it a secret k? Otherwise the other students might find it unfair. ”
The sensei never once stopped talking as she took his bag and lead Mokuba out of the class.
Since when has it been fair? Mokuba tried to resist a snort as he followed his sensei, still listening to her rambles.
“Your doctor said that your bodyguard will be waiting for you by the gate to escort you back. Do take care and rest well k? I’ll see you when you get better!”
Leaving Mokuba confused by this weird change of event, he did the most logical thing he can think of, which is do as what she said and head towards the gate for his new bodyguard.
This was one of the tricks Yui had taught him secretly behind Kaiba’s back that’ll help him getting out of troubles – Making use of his natural born angelic face to smitten people and let their guards down.
Of course, Mokuba had promised Yui not to abuse and exploit this advantage for any unjustified reasons. He knew she would never had taught him any of these manipulation methods if she hasn’t found out about how he had been mistreated in school, both from the adults and fellow classmates. Heck, the very first time when Yui met him was when he was being bullied.
Yui had explained and made him understand how prejudice most people can be, especially when he’s a Kaiba. She taught him not to fight it out, but bend their thoughts instead. He remembered how strongly he had resisted the idea, but glad that Yui had been persistent about it.
-Flashback- Few days before the Charity dinner
“Why? Why should I be nice to them when it should be the other way round?! They are the one who’s wrong in the first place!” Mokuba exclaimed, his glare not losing to Seto.
This was one of the rare moments where Mokuba was mad, even though his anger wasn’t at Yui herself. Tension rose in Mokuba’s room, and Yui was glad that she had send Hiroshima in an errand while Seto was still in the office, allowing her to have this private chat with him.
“I can understand why you would resist this idea so much Mokuba, but-”
“If you understand, you wouldn’t ask me to do that in the first place! Do you know how mean they’ve been treating me all the time? Do you know what they say about me behind my backs? So how can you say you understand?!”
“Sigh, I do know how they’ve been treating you and what they’re saying behind your back and that’s why we’re having this conversation In the first place. I want to make them stop. I just want you to be happy. Tha-”
“If you really me to be happy and want to help me, you can blackmail all of them to stop! I know you can! Big brother told me that you got hold of everyone’s information and blackmailed everyone who’s in his fanclub at school, even disbanding it! Why is it that you can do it for big brother but not me? Am I not as important as he is just because I’m his little brother?!”
“Mokuba...” Yui let out another sigh as she knelt down, matching his height before she wiped away the tears that were inaudibly flowing out of his eyes. Those tiny droplets of liquid said so much; sadness, pain, resentment, confusion, jealousy, self-doubts, insecurities and yearning for love...
Yui can’t blame him, for all these negative emotions he was feeling. Just like any other kids, he’s just as naive and innocent, a child that want to love and be loved. Yet he received nothing but hostility for his kindness and no one was there for him and explain to him why.
To have a capable elder sibling can be tough, and for Mokuba, it’s so much worse. Even Yui herself can’t imagine what was it like for Mokuba, to always be overshadowed, to have his own accomplishment be compared to him instead of getting the praises he should have.
Mokuba was also always in constant exposed to possible physical and psychological danger just so that people can get to Kaiba. Because of it, it had stripped him away from the freedom a 12 years old boy should have. Worst of all, he had always been known as Kaiba’s little brother, but not… Mokuba Kaiba.
“Mokuba, look at me.” Yui whispered before her voice returned to her previous resolute ones as she cupped his face and gently made him to look at her in the eyes.
“First, I did not blackmail them. I prefer to use the term convince, or negotiate. Second, you misunderstood. I blackmailed those floozies for me, not for Kaiba. If I don’t disband that stupid fanclub, they would stop disrupting my sleep. Third, I’m insulted. Do you think l like to waste my time so willingly and do all these stuff for you just for fun? Not even Seto Kaiba has this kind of privilege for this service of mine. So by all means, you’re indeed not as important as Seto Kaiba, because for me, you’re much more important than him.”
“… …” Mokuba flushed at her statement. No one.. had ever said he was more important.
“Think about it Mokuba, if I help you blackmail all of them, this would only solve the problem temporarily. What if you’re stuck in a similar situation in the future and I’m not there to convince them?”
“You can teach me how to get all the underground information! Then I can do all the ‘convincing’ by myself!”
“Unlike you Mokuba, I got nothing to lose, so when I’m convincing them, they got nothing on me to turn it against me. But for you, it’s totally different. Both you and Kaiba had a reputation to keep, so it is only wise for you to be on the good side instead of the other.”
“But big bro-”
“Hate to burst your bubbles but Kaiba himself is very aware of the importance of this as well. As unsociable and antagonistic your brother is, why do you think he would make himself to attend all those lunch or dinner dates and boring social events even though he hate it so much?”
“… …” It did struck Mokuba, knowing that what Yui had said was right.
“Pretending to be nice not only reduces their bias resentment and resistant, but will also lower their guards and have them work in your favour. You wouldn’t want to rely on me or your brother and worry about you forever right?”
Mokuba nodded, finally conceded. Yet, his gaze at the orange hair girl was unable to hide the sadness that still remained within him.
“I know you hate the idea, and I know it all doesn’t make any sense to you. But you’ll understand this logic soon enough after you see it in our way.”
“That most people are ignoramuses, too stupid to understand what’s beneath the surface and would believe anything what people tell them.”
“That’s.. not nice.”
Yui smiled a little. As harsh as Mokuba was earlier, at the very end, he’s still the kind boy that can’t put himself to hurt anyone, not even bad-mouthing them.
“But that’s the truth. That’s why you need to learn how to deal with these ignorance people while exploiting the most out of them for their stupidity. If they choose to treat you in a juvenile and stupid way and be judgemental of whom you are, it’s only fair if we treat them the same. Furthermore, you have a greater upper hand than Kaiba, something that’ll make it much easier and effective for you.”
“Don’t worry, I’m not telling you to treat them like a puppeteer but to teach you how to stop their discrimination and induced them to change their point of view. You won’t be hurting anyone so no matter what, you will only benefit from it. So? Do you trust me enough to do what I’ve advised?”
“… … Hai!” Mokuba agreed after pondering about it seriously. His eyes now filled with strong resolution, an expression that strongly resembles the one Seto Kaiba has. Yui gave him smirk in recognition, recognising that look easily, a look that promises greatness.
“Good. But Mokuba, you need to know one more thing, and it is the most important out of all.”
“Hm?” Mokuba stared at her curiously, her earlier calmness and gentleness now replaced a face of absolute seriousness and sternness.
“Never ever interrupt me in a middle of a sentence.”
“… … H-Hai…”
-End of Flashback-
Yui was right, not the bullying had stopped, and people have been treating him nicer. Thanks to everything she had taught him, he learned to be more tactful, more rational and win battles based on his own wits rather than forcing them to comply.
Mokuba let out a sigh as he continued to walk out of his school, realizing he had been thinking about that orange hair girl whom he had regarded as his family since that faithful day. He had been missing her a lot, remembering how sad he felt when she was gone again the moment she had recovered from her injuries. She had leave nothing but a note telling him not to worry and will see him again soon.
He dread seeing his bodyguard again, he didn’t like him. He can sense that the bodyguard had treated him like a kid. A spoiled kid no less. To him, he was just client, a rich boy that needed to be babysat and nothing else. He hates it, he missed Hiroshima, because he knew he truly cared for him as much as Seto and Yui does.
“Frowning isn’t good for you, you know. It doesn’t suit that face of yours.”
Mokuba’s head shot up when he heard the familiar voice, his eyes widened when he saw that very person he had been thinking about since the day she left, that usual smirk on her face.
“I promised I’ll hang out you again didn’t I? Who else do you think can get you out of school so easily when there’ll be a test later on?” Yui grinned at the astonished looking boy, seeing his face brightened up when he realized what you’ve done.
“YUI NEE-CHAN!” Mokuba practically yelled as he pounded at the girl, whom he forgot that it was the very girl who practically has no muscles in that tiny size recently recovered body of hers.
“Wait Moku-, Offt-!” Yui grunted, face twisted a little from the pain of the impact, falling back down on her rear with a loud thud upon the sudden weight that lunged onto her.
Yui had always been physically fragile despite her tough attitude she had, partly due to her secret illness and that microscopic amount of stamina she’s born with. She was the prime example of what people would refer as ‘skinny fat’, in other words, as much as she hates to admit, she’s 99% physically useless unless desperate situations call for desperate measures.
As she touched the ground, she thanked all gods and deities of all religions secretly in her mind that it was thick grasses that had broke her fall and lessen the pain instead of falling on concrete grounds. Even though she wasn’t injured from the fall, her pipeline had been cut off by Mokuba’s pressure on her body, her face turning blue by the seconds.
“Yui nee-chan! I miss you so much! I was so worried! Big brother told me you’re staying in Yugi’s house again and won’t be back an-”
“I’m sorry Mr Mokuba, but I think it’ll be better if you get off Amatsuki-san. She looked like she’s about to suffocate.” Naoki Mitsumura, a man in his late twenties with a head of fashionably styled auburn hair spoke up, his deep voice successfully catching Mokuba’s attention.
“O-Oh! Crap! Crap! Crap!” Mokuba exclaimed as he quickly scrambled away. Having the heavy weight being lifted off your chest, you began to breathe haggardly, desperately taking in the fresh air you had been deprived of a few seconds ago.
“I’m so sorry Yui nee-chan! Are you alright?” This time round, the concern and worries in his eyes were genuine, squatting down to check on you who had sit up to catch your breath.
“Y-Yea, I’ll survive” You choked out before noticing a hand before you. Your eyes fall to the owner of the hand, seeing that it was offered by Mokuba’s new bodyguard. Although he wore a suit like Hiroshima, the impression they gave was totally different.
Naoki had leaved the top button of his shirt unbuttoned, his tie was loosened. Rather than wearing sunglasses all the time like Hiroshima, Naoki choose to leave his sunglasses rested on his head. You swore, by how he dressed and have that charming smile that complimented his handsome features that made him seemed younger than he actually is, he looked more like a host instead of a bodyguard.
“Need help? Amatsuki-san?” Naoki practically purred, his words filled with mockery and amusement as that grin of his widened so ever slightly.
You grumbled a little before you took his hand begrudgingly, shooting him a glare too. Yet instead of reaction you had hope for, Naoki simply chuckled as he pulled you up easily, giving you a dramatic bow afterwards. He had one of his hands behind his back and one over his stomach as he bowed, like a gentleman in olden days.
“I’m Naoki Mitsumura, the new bodyguard of Mr Mokuba. It’s so nice to finally see you for the first time, Amatsuki-san.” He said with a cheeky grin, amused by your nonchalance by his taunts.
Mokuba frowned almost instantly, raising an eyebrow at how his new bodyguard was behaving in front of his sister, the sister that belongs to his big brother. He sounded like he was flirting with you, an act Mokuba know very well that it’s highly unprofessional, but also highly suspicious.
Not missing how Mokuba had suddenly tensed as he moved away from Naoki and discreetly stand in front of you protectively with a distrustful look on his face, you let out a sigh.
He’s just like Seto… You mused, staring at the tiny boy in front of you whom hands were raised up slightly, as if he was ready to shield if anything happens. A faint bittersweet smile made it to your face, yet it was gone before anyone can see it, or so you thought.
“Naoki you baka, your acting skills sucks. You’re supposed to pretend that you do not know me, not the other way round. Look what you’ve done.” You said calmly as you place your hand on Mokuba’s shoulder and gave a light squeeze to assure him that the new bodyguard before them isn’t an enemy.
Mokuba tore his heated glare away from Naoki and looked back up at you. Seeing you giving him a tiny nod, his arms fall back to his side, but resumed glaring at Naoki, his arms crossed over his chest, still remaining as protective as ever, thought it was for another reason.
“Oh come on Yui, with you being so uptight now, how can you expect me to miss this rare chance to tease you? Furthermore, you and I both know that it won’t matter if this little boy or anyone else knows about our relationship. In fact, it’s for the better, don’t you think?”
“… … You do realize that you’re attracting yourself with unnecessary troubles by doing that right?” Your face hardened, staring straight at his eyes with great seriousness. Even though you know he’s very capable, he’s still your associate and he was.. sort of your benefactor. You would never wish for him to be at risk just because he’s helping you. Well, at least not more than he should be from being Mokuba’s bodyguard.
Naoki said nothing, but gave you a smug smirk, a smirk you would pegged as an annoying one, entirely different from Kaiba’s who always managed to make such supposedly infuriating smirk to be so natural and refined.
“Fine, do whatever you want. Just, be careful.” You murmured quietly, unable to shake off that guilt you’re feeling, especially when you know very well what he was trying to do.
Neither Seto nor Mokuba was in danger in the first place if it wasn’t for you, so by having Naoki disclose the fact that he had some sort of history with you, he would quickly made himself as Oguri’s prime target. With that, the possibility of Seto or Mokuba being in danger would definitely decrease.
You had always been known to act alone, having no affiliation with anyone or whatsoever. So if Oguri got the wind this information that there’s actually someone who actually have a past with you, no doubt he would try all ways to exploit this opportunity and use it to his advantage.
“Damn right I will!” He proclaimed, huffing through his nostril, acting as if he wasn’t aware just what kind of dangerous situation he’s actually in.
“You’re still the same idiot as before.” You sighed, raising your hand to rub your throbbing temples, forgetting how tiring it is to deal with Naoki. When he was not putting up an act of a stereotype type bodyguard to his employers, he actually acts like Joey and Tristan despite his age, being loud and childish like a 5 years old kid. And the worst part is, he’s the genius version of Joey and Tristan, making him more infuriating to be with.
Is this what Seto always feel when I’m the one who’s being so audacious?
A frown made it to your face when you snapped out of your thoughts. You’re doing it again, all your thoughts will always leading back the blue eye CEO. This had been happening more frequently, so much that it’s annoying you. Just what exactly have Seto done to you?
(3rd Person POV)
Mokuba listened quietly to the conversation between Yui and Naoki, memorizing every single word and body language of both hers and Naoki’s. No, he does not have a photographic memory like Yui, but that doesn’t mean he’s unable to do so. Just like his brother, Mokuba was actually a really smart boy, but people do not realize that as they tend to give him less credit than he deserved because he was often overshadowed by Seto and by that angelic look of his.
I definitely need to tell big brother about it! Mokuba thought to himself, still glaring at Naoki. He didn’t really think much about his new bodyguard of 2 days since he was still dwelling over about losing Yui and Hiroshima. Sure he was glad that Yui had fulfilled her promise but he didn’t like this revelation about her relationship with Naoki one bit.
“Ne Yui nee-chan, why do you know him? Who is he to you?” Mokuba asked seriously, a tone that she seldom heard it from him. He had been grabbing onto her hand possessively like a little boy unwilling to let go of their mother.
“Ah.. We’ve met when he helped me in a project some time ago. You can say that he’s sort of an associate of mine. Erm, he’s your bodyguard because he’s the only person I can trust to protect you other than Hiroshima.”
Standing by the side, Naoki just grinned as he listened to her poor explanation, the corner of his eyes noticed her gaze flickered towards him for a second, shooting him a light glare of annoyance to shut him up. Technically speaking, Naoki can’t say that Yui weren’t speaking the truth, it just so happens that, she had just understate the truth by a certain degree is all.
He had helped her in a project some time ago? How about trying He had practically saved your 4 years old ass when you stupidly tried to hack into the government system by yourself 14 years ago? (Refer to chapter 32: Mascot)*
Chuckling to himself at his own jokes, Naoki allowed himself to walk down the memory lane of how their fate intertwined.
-Naoki’s Memory- 3rd Person POV
For Naoki, his intelligence was inherited from his family line, so he was made to learn and master many skills and specialties in almost every area. And unlike Yui, Naoki’s family was very well-off so it was not needed for him to be publicized to gain financial support for the finest education ever to attain their full potential.
Not to mention the fact that it’s very crucial for Naoki and his family to stay in the dark and lay low as their family business … wasn’t be what the government and society would claim as conventional or legal. Of course, they’re not involved in anything that associate to any kind of violence.
Naoki would say that they were more about being behind the scene, helping huge firms to get whatever they want through scheming methods. They do not take sides, simply a mercenary group that will provide the needed services to any company as long as it pays really well.
By the age of 12, Naoki was already taking easy assignments for his family. He does not give much thought whether his actions were justified or not, for everything was like a game to him. This was a situation many geniuses were in, their IQ so high that they can achieve anything and get anything they want easily, causing their life to be void of challenges. And from what they know about the harsh reality of humanity leave them emotionless, most reaching the point of being extremely sadistic. As long as it entertains them even for a minute to make them forget how boring life is, nothing really matters to them, whether it’s life-threatening and illegal or not.
Naoki still remember, the day that lead up to the meeting with the orange head girl and began their so call ‘friendship’. He was browsing through the government system for an assignment when he noticed another hacker in the system. The only problem was, the hacker was not as experienced as he was, leaving all sort of evidences and in danger of triggering the warning alarm, compromising his position and putting him in a great risk of being found out too.
Having no choice, he quickly intercepted the hacker’s access and blocked out it before starting to erase all traces of evidence that the stupid hacker had leave behind before he logged out from the system as well. Frustrated he had to complete his issued assignment because of this ignorant dimwit, he wasted no time to track who exactly cause him such unnecessary trouble and plan to give that amateur a punishment he’ll never forget.
To his surprise, it was traced back to a computer in a public library, an ordinary PC that basically does not really have the capability to hack into such highly classified databases. With a little more investigation, he realized that it was actually a years old girl that done the deed, igniting his interest almost instantly.
Feeling the affinity of being a genius child, it did not take him long to get hold of her address and made a personal visit to get to know her. During that time, Yui was still a naïve innocent child, outgoing and trusting, the two of them turning into good friends in a blink of an eye. A genius that had yet to be tainted.
Naoki then found out that Yui’s father was barely at home and they were too poor to provide her with any education, leaving her alone in the small, torn down apartment every day. Out of great amusement and a little out of pity, Naoki decided to take the role of a teacher and taught her everything he knew, especially his specialty and her interest; computer skills.
For a fellow associate who shared the same fate of a gift and a curse, wondering if she would fall from grace like the all them, or will she be an exception. Amused by the different possibilities of how it’ll turn out, Naoki decided that it’ll do harm in going ahead this little experiment of his to satisfy his curiosity.
This teacher-student slash associate relationship thus started, with Yui more than willing to have him tutor him. While Naoki tutored her in all subjects, he would also give her a few easy assignments for practice or have her to join him to learn from experience.
This lasted for two years until Yui had managed to gain the attention of the media from earning her first noble prize. Even though it was just a noble prize of literature that didn’t really impact the world, it was still a prize of recognition for her intelligence.
It went according to what Naoki had intended, to have someone to provide Yui with all sort of offers that she and her father would need to worry about her future and their financial status.
Sure, Naoki could easily have her work for his family, but for him who had never been given a chance at a future in the light, he would at least want Yui to have this opportunity. The day she was publicized by the media, was the very day they had completely lose their contact, yet knowing very well it won’t be the last they would hear from each other…
-End of Naoki’s Memories-
Back to Present (3rd Person POV)
“Isn’t he just a bodyguard? Why is he your associate and what does it got to do with your project?” Mokuba questioned, though somehow, it actually sounded like he was integrating Yui instead.
“Being a bodyguard is sort of his second job. Besides that, he’s very experienced in computer programming so he used to help me when I need help.”
“You need help?” Mokuba asked with great bewilderment, his eyes widened indecorously, apparently pretty surprise to know that a genius like her who’s at the foremost in the field of her expertise actually requires someone else’s help! No, what’s more even startling was that Yui actually had encountered difficulty in solving a problem in the first place!
Suppressing the irritation that raised within her that was caused by Naoki’s instant outburst, Yui ignored his loud chuckling after shooting him a death glare and looked back down at Mokuba, prepared to tell him anything he wants to know. Of course, if the situation calls for it, she would paraphrase what she would tell him by a little, just enough for him to get a rough idea.
“Yes Mokuba, there are times when I need help like everyone else too. People may refer me as a genius but I too start from a clean state, learning everything from scrap. I too need guidance when I‘m lost, advices when I’m confused and enlightenment when I make mistake.”
“But you’re a genius!”
“Che, as if being genius would mean anything?” Naoki suddenly cut in, letting out a haughty sneer at Mokuba’s remark.
“Like you would know anything?! You’re not the genius here, Yui nee-chan is! She doesn’t need to know what you think!” Mokuba snapped, having enough of his bodyguard’s attitude. Her friend or not, Mokuba Kaiba do not tolerance disrespectfulness! (A/N Mokuba sounded like a mini Seto here <3)
Yui let out a sigh as knelt down to meet Mokuba in the eyes, something she always does when she have something important to tell him. It was her responsibility to explain it to Mokuba, clarifying any misapprehensions he has. She was glad that Naoki understood her intentions, giving her a nod of approval and kept quiet. Yui began to smooth his hair gently, with a faint smile on her face.
“I’m flattered that you actually think so highly of me Mokuba, but Naoki is right, being a genius doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a misconception people tend to have.”
Mokuba frowned deeply before he turned his head away, refusing to meet her in the eyes anymore. Somehow, he felt ashamed and unjust at the same time. Ashamed of being a stereotype and judged her by her cover, and feeling unjust for her not siding with him. He doesn’t like it, being proved wrong in front of Naoki, feeling betrayed even.
As if she could read his thoughts, Yui instantly cupped Mokuba’s cheeks like what she always do when she have something important to tell him and wanted him to look at her. Instead of the hurtful glare Mokuba wanted to give her, he was taken back when he saw the expression on her face, an extremely rare expression that he had only seen it a few times.
It was filled with genuine concern, a bitter strained smile on her face as she stared at him tiredly. That pair of hazel eyes no longer concealed the amount of hardship she had been through, revealing the great amount of wisdom she held about life.
Even though he had only seen it a few times, he knew quite well what it meant. It was a face that tells him that no matter what, Yui will always have his best interest in her heart, a face that tells him just how badly she wanted him to understand what she had been trying to teach him.
He knew, that Yui had never once tried to *cough*convince *cough* him in any way. He was the only exception in her life that she did not play her mind games with. She only gave advices, direction guidance, but never once forced her reasoning upon him. Just that look, was sufficient enough for Mokuba to calm down and obediently listened to what she want to say…
As I was trying to finish the new chapter, it had gotten too long, longer than this (Around 10,000 to 12,000 words, aka 20 pages when it's usually 3000 words). That’s why this is only part 1. Because if I want to continue, it’ll take more days to finish it.. (It’s only finish when I’m finally satisfied with the flow)
Oh, and I apologize for the lack of Kaiba in this chapter! (more of he didn’t appear at all) This chapter focused a lot on Yui’s past and the bond he had with Mokuba, explaining why Mokuba was so attracted her.
Anyway, in this chapter, it shows Mokuba in his rebellious stage. Well, he always had been in, just that there’s only a few triggers that would make him act out. After all, he’s a Kaiba, in some way, he resembles Seto a lot. And having being pampered since young, it can’t be help if Mokuba is being a spoiled brat from time to time. Something like a protecting mechanism against people he’s not close with. Similar to Kaiba being cold and intimidating all the time..
I kind of feel bad about Mokuba, of how he’s the younger sibling of someone so important. Seriously though, if one do not teach him and clear his confusion, I think Mokuba would be pretty bratty right now. I mean, how can one not? He’s trying to be friendly but got discriminate just because of his name. Any little kid would be confused as to why people only hurt them when they’ve done nothing wrong.
I know some people don’t like too many new OC but Naoki would play a pretty important role in the future. Yugi and the gang would slowly fade out though.. they are not cut out for the business world. =Pp In a way, Naoki was more of a typical sadist genius and more secrets about Yui would be revealed next chapter! So does the argument Yui have with Mokuba.
Hope all of you like it and not get bored by how the story have been progressing T.T
Feel free to leave a msg and thank you so much for waiting!!
Tempest: Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it ^^
Itsmehninja: Thank you! Glad you like it! I wanted to continue there but it’ll be weird if I suddenly write in 2nd person POV (Which ff.net kind of frowned upon) This is just a normal blog and I’m glad you’re following it ^^
